In 2000, CBEW Professional Group, LLP celebrated its 40th year with a name change to reflect the increased versatility and changing personality of the firm. The CPA firm was founded in 1960 by Robert Bland as a sole proprietor. Robert Call joined the firm in 1962 and the firm became known as Bland & Call. The name soon changed to Bland, Call & Co., and then to Call, Barrick, Ethridge, Webb & Co. Robert Bland retired in 1978, Robert Call retired in 1987 and Ron Barrick in 2002. The firm currently has five partners, Don Ethridge, Walter Webb, Jane Frazier, Chuck Crooks, and Trisha Rieman who are CPA's. CBEW operates out of four full-time offices located in Cushing, Drumright, Pawnee and Stillwater. The CPA firm serves a broad spectrum of the Oklahoma economy with the objective of providing the best services possible at a reasonable fee.

CBEW is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPA's and the Division for CPA Firms of the AICPA, which is a voluntary self-regulatory organization, established to foster quality performance and the Oklahoma Society of CPA's. CBEW is also a member of INPACT Americas, an association of CPA firms in the United States and its international affiliate INPACT International.
